About B&S Kites

B&S Kites is an independently operated information site about kites and wind toys. It explains kite types, the fabrics and frame materials used, how kites hold up outdoors, and how to care for them.

The site is named after its domain. From about 2000 to 2017 that domain hosted the website of a kite shop on South Padre Island, Texas, with pages on stunt kites, single-line kites, spinners and windsocks, and photos from kite festivals. This site is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with any company, organisation or person that has previously used this domain name or whose name appears in it. In particular, it is not affiliated with the B & S Kites shop on South Padre Island that previously used this domain or its owners or staff. The old site's content is not reproduced here.
